The Tropical 7s has announced Unilink Sports as official international university rugby placement for the 2022 tournament. Unilink Sports is a university placement service for rugby players that allows athletes to continue their playing career while earning a Bachelors or Masters degree in the United Kingdom or Europe. Unilink offers a free placement service that connects the rugby athlete with universities based on academic preferences. Unilink guides athletes through the application process and helps them match up with the most suitable programs for them.
Through the partnership, Tropical 7s will encourage youth and collegiate athletes to explore post advanced degree opportunities while continuing to play the sport and to understand the options available to them. UNILINK SPORTS provides opportunities to student-athletes who wish to play rugby & study in the United Kingdom, Ireland and other countries within Europe. Students can study a Bachelors or Masters degree whilst playing rugby at one of the many partner universities.
