TEAM REGISTRATION FOR ELITE DIVISONS
-
Teams wishing to enter into ANY elite division must obtain an invitation code in order to register your team.

Contact the tournament prior to registering for these divisions by emailing info@tropical7s.com.

All teams will need to be pre-approved, and if successful will be provided with a code in order to complete online registration and pay the registration fee.

Note: The decision to hold separate elite and open divisions at any given age group will be dependent on achieving a sufficient number of registrations in both divisions. Divisions may be combined if there are insufficient team numbers in any division. Tournament Management's decision is final in deciding whether a team plays in the elite or open division. REGISTRATION STATUS
A team’s registration shall only be treated as:
• submitted once the online registration process has been completed;
• provisionally accepted once Tropical 7s confirms that the team has been offered a place in a division and full payment of the team registration fee has been received
• fully confirmed once all pre-tournament registration, roster, eligibility, and compliance requirements have been satisfied, and once the team has completed any mandatory onsite team check-in and accreditation procedures required by Tropical 7s.

The official closing date for registrations is 19 February 2027. As the number of available team places in divisions may be capped, some divisions are expected to 'close-out' much earlier than the final registration date.

DIVISION WAITLISTS
The number of available team spaces for each division is capped. Once a division is 'full', a team can still register (no registration fee taken) but will be placed on a waitlist. If a space becomes available in that division, waitlisted teams will be contacted according to the order they registered and asked to confirm their registration along with payment of the team registration fee. Tournament organisers may consider extending a division if a sufficient number of teams are on the waitlist and subject to overall tournament capacity.​

TEAM REGISTRATION CANCELLATION POLICY
Team withdrawals are subject to the following team registration cancellation policy:
• on or before 31 December 2026: 50% refund of the team registration fee;
• on or after 1 January 2027: no refund.
Any team that withdraws within 4 weeks of the first day of the tournament may be prohibited from entering a team in the same age group in the following year’s event. Division change requests (e.g. from Elite to Open or from one age group to another) will be considered prior to 31 December 2026 but are not guaranteed. ​ Division change requests after this date are strongly discouraged.
