WHAT IS THE TROPICAL 7s? 

Now in its 7th year and held annually each Easter week, the TROPICAL 7s has become one of the world's leading youth rugby events, bringing together school and university age teams from around the world together for a once-in-a-lifetime rugby tour experience under the warm Florida sunshine. 

 

While attracting the world’s elite teams, the competition is open to all teams of various skill levels for boys & girls sides at U18, U16, U14, U12 (Coed) and University/U23 age groups. And for 2024, we have introduced senior men's and women's divisions for the very first time.

 

With an ideal warm weather environment coupled with a world class tournament venue with 15 professionally maintained grass pitches, TROPICAL 7s provides an unparalleled playing experience to ensure players perform at their best.  The tournament's location in Tampa is perfectly situated close to many of Central Florida's tourist attractions and beaches, and provides an ideal rugby tour experience for teams, players, coaches and spectators alike.
