A new addition to the broadcast coverage of this year’s event will be the launch of Tropical 7s Live, a free-to-air daily show designed to bring fans deeper into the heart of the tournament.
Broadcast live each day of the tournament from 2–8pm, the show will air from a dedicated pitchside studio and will combine coverage of featured matches of the day with live updates from across the rest of the tournament venue. The live show will complement the extensive match-by-match coverage provided by GOLS Livestream across the entire tournament.
More than just a match stream, Tropical 7s Live will give viewers a wider window into the full event experience. The show will feature interviews with special guests, reporting from around the venue, behind-the-scenes access, and live coverage designed to let audiences see everything happening across the tournament as it unfolds.
The program will be hosted by Wendy Young, Alycia Washington and Ben Webber, bringing viewers expert insight, real-time reaction and a live-show feel throughout the afternoon and evening.

The show will be available free to air via the GOLS livestream, the Tropical 7s YouTube page, and RugbyPass TV.
The show will also be broadcast live to the giant screen in the tournament plaza, giving players, families and fans on site another way to stay connected to the biggest moments unfolding across the event.
RugbyPass TV, launched by World Rugby ahead of Rugby World Cup 2023, is a free global rugby streaming platform featuring live matches, original programming, documentaries and rugby content for fans around the world.
Its addition gives Tropical 7s Live a major international platform and helps extend the reach of the event well beyond Tampa. World Rugby has positioned RugbyPass TV as a key part of its strategy to broaden rugby’s audience and make the game more accessible across more markets.
With premier match coverage, live venue reporting, special guests, behind-the-scenes access and live viewing in the heart of the venue itself, “Tropical 7s Live” is set to add a new layer to the 2026 tournament experience and give fans everywhere a dynamic, all-access way to follow the event in real time.
