Following the sport's return at the Rio 2016 Olympics, Rugby Sevens is now an Olympic sport. The TROPICAL 7s helps young players to strive for the Olympic dream by providing a pathway to the next level with top international competition and training in an elite athlete environment.
Players at the TROPICAL 7s get seen by important decision-makers and talent scouts, with many "alumni" having gone to greater heights by being selected for national teams and getting recruited and offered scholarships to play in college.

Rugby recruiters are able to join the TROPICAL 7s Talent Identification Programme that attracts national selectors from USA Rugby and Rugby Canada as well as college coaches from the US and abroad...

TROPICAL 7s offers the unique opportunity for teams to conduct training camp activities in the week of the tournament at our world-class facility. With perfect grass pitches under the warm spring Florida sunshine, it is no surprise teams love to arrive early to take advantage of the opportunity.
The field complex is a regular venue for professional sports teams, with convenient accommodation directly on-site, offering the ideal setup for a training camp experience ahead of the competition.
