KICKSTART YOUR RUGBY JOURNEY
Rugby 7s will feature at both Paris 2024 and Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games and is firmly established as an Olympic sport. The USA is also the focus of the rugby world having been awarded both the Mens and Womens Rugby World Cups in 2031 and 2033 respectively.
Players at the TROPICAL 7s are seen by recruiters and talent scouts. Many players at the tournament have since been selected for national and selection teams, as well as getting recruited by and offered scholarships to play in college in the US and Canada.
DESTINATION: TAMPA
The TROPICAL 7s takes place at the Tournament Sportsplex of Tampa Bay, a state-of-the-art mega sports complex comprising of 15 fields and a central tournament plaza.
The venue is within 15 mins from 6000 hotel rooms, just 15 mins from downtown Tampa, 25 mins from Tampa International Airport and is within easy reach of Central Florida's world famous theme parks, beaches and top tourist attractions.

TROPICAL 7s is proud to be an official talent identification event for USA Rugby. The tournament attracts the top youth players and teams, both boys and girls, from across North America and around the the world.
Rugby recruiters can become an 'Official Recruiter' for the tournament - the event is typically attended by national selectors, professional rugby franchises as well as US college coaches.
