DISCOUNTED ACCOMMODATION RATES FOR PARTICIPATING TEAMS
Participating teams (including travelling friends and family) can benefit from specially discounted rates as negotiated by our official accommodation booking partner, Event Connect (previously know as 'RoomRoster') which is fully integrated into our team registration system. If you are bringing multiple teams to the tournament we strongly recommend you contact Team Relations in advance to discuss your club's accommodation needs.

At the point of team registration - the team manager/coach registering the team will automatically be taken to the list of available hotels when they register their team.
By accessing their 'Team Dashboard' - once a coach/team manager has registered their team, they will be able to access their Team Dashboard where they can view the accommodation options.

HOLDING, CONFIRMING AND PAYING FOR YOUR ROOM RESERVATIONS
The tournament's accommodation booking system allows for room blocks to be held for up to 10 days. Room block holds that are not confirmed within 10 days will then be released. Once you have requested a room block, the system will allow you to give your room block a customised name (e.g. 'Oakville Crusaders U14 Boys') and a shareable link which you can forward on to other members of your group where they can confirm a booking within your allocated room block.
To confirm a room booking, a $5 per room night deposit will be taken at the point of confirming the reservation (referred to as an 'Event Connect' service fee). The balance of the booking must then be paid for at the hotel. Any additional requests e.g. rollaway beds, breakfast upgrades etc must be made directly with the accommodation provider. Please note the $5 per room night booking deposit is non-refundable (except in the case of event cancellation) and will show as 'EventConnect' on your credit card statement. If a team manager prefers to book all the room reservations for a group centrally, he/she can add individuals within the group (players, coaches, friends and family) and allocate them to specific rooms in your block via your 'Team Dashboard'. A NOTE ABOUT ACCOMMODATION BOOKING POLICIES...
Please note that your accommodation booking is completely separate from your team's registration for the tournament and is governed by different terms and conditions (including fees and taxes) as each accommodation provider will differ. It is important therefore that before confirming your reservation, you check the hotel's specific terms and conditions as they may differ from provider to provider. Tropical 7s will not be held responsible for any disputes relating to team accommodation.
Please note that Event Connect charge a $5 per room night service fee (included within the advertised rate) which is non-refundable except in the case of event cancellation. However, it is still possible to block rooms for up to 10 days without incurring the $5 service charge.
