We therefore aim to provide a personal but flexible service to meet the different needs of each individual team -- whether you simply want to turn up and play or require a fully customised itinerary for the week. Find below a breakdown of related event fees and pricing:


The Registration Entry Fee for the 2025 TROPICAL 7s is $750 (USD) per team (for all divisions)

The Registration Entry Fee includes:

  • Team entry into the 2025 TROPICAL 7s

  • Access to pitches for training sessions on Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th April 2025.

  • Individual player entry into Tropical 7s ATHLETE COMBINE

  • Qualified referee assigned to all matches

  • Trophy presented to division winners

  • 1 x free parking pass  per registered team at the venue

  • Free admission for all participants and spectators

  • Event sanctioning and team compliance by USA Rugby

  • Coupons and discounts to local food outlets and tourist attractions

  • Maximum 15 players per registered team (max 12 players can be rostered for a competitive match)

The following outlines our refund policy should a team wish to withdraw their registration from the tournament.

  • Prior to 1st January 2025 – a full refund will be given less a $50 cancellation fee 

  • Between 1st January and 14th February 2025 - a 50% partial refund will be given 

  • After 15th February 2025 - no refund will be given

Tropical 7s can help facilitate various additional services to participating teams on request, including:

  • Transport:

    • Coach transfers available to and from host accommodation, including airports transfers. Prices calculated according to destination and number of passengers travelling - prices available on request.

    • Obtain 12-seater van rental rates through our preferred vehicle hire provider – prices available on request.

    • Note: Teams will receive 1 free parking pass per registered team.


  • Tickets to Local Theme Parks, Attractions & Sporting Events

    • Discounted tickets to various local  Tampa tourist attractions and activities - more details to come .

  • Team Tents:

    • Teams can reserve a dedicated team tent installed at the fields for the duration of the competition period.

    • Contact the Tropical 7s team for more details on sizes, prices and availability.

  • Friends & Family:

    • Discounted accommodation rates can be secured for all members of your delegation, including friends and family.

    • Note there is no admission fee to the pitches for spectators although there is a parking charge on tournament days
